Fashion Advice for Women over Fifty SUCKS!!!

Doesn't it make you mad that in all of the Fashion Magazines they basically stop giving advice for women over Fifty?  I mean after all, who under 50 years of age can afford the clothes, let alone a complete outfit? And, the clothes that they advise are ludicrous. What 50 year old woman is going to wear a skirt way above the knees without stockings? I don't know about you, but I was a waitress all throughout college and I have had a varicose vein since then. Is every woman supposed to go out and have their veins treated just so she can wear a skirt.  Come on.  I am so glad that  Katherine the Duchess of York has begun to wear stockings. She is the epitome of beauty and high fashion. I suggest that anyone over 50 is entitled to wear stockings any
time; winter, spring, summer or fall.  In fact, for most women it is imperative. Although I love Michelle Obama, I was kind of offended when I saw her with bare legs at some of the important State functions. Certain styles are okay for luncheons, or daytime, but evening wear is more formal and bare legs are inappropriate. For anyone over Fifty, they are a must.

It's even more pathetic when it comes to women over 60. What are stylish women who are getting older supposed to do?  It's so crazy.  Who and the hell do they think the women under 50 are? Is everyone a Demi Moore, who can afford to go and have her knees lifted along with everything else? Do they expect everyone to get a second mortgage on their homes to pay for plastic surgery just so they can be "stylish"?

I say that Designers need to make clothes with the Baby Boomers in mind. They are missing out on a huge demographic that actually has money. Is everyone so struck with Kim Kardashian that there is no more common sense?  If you compare pictures of her from 15 years ago to today, she must have had at least 10 different plastic surgeries to her face alone. We need to start embracing who we are, and not who we think the "perfect" person is. No one is perfect.

Let's start a magazine for women over Fifty.  Not like More which basically gets women who are 40-45 who still look 30. That too makes me so mad.  Are there no role models over 50? over 60? No wonder women are so depressed about getting older; they have nothing to look forward to except being rejected or
having to undergo a massive makeover to make them look 20 years younger. Poofy lips do NOT make you look younger.  How about looking beautiful for your age?  Not looking 20 years younger.
